LATEST CABLEGRAMS. BOMBAY. May 4.
A serious riofc has taken place at Shangai . The French and other foreign settlements were stormed. The English settlement was left untonched. Several rioters were shot. The sailors from the men-of-war in port were landed, and volunteers collected. All is now quiet. The origin of the riot wos an attempt made by French residents to cut a road which interferes with the Ningpo graveyards.
