The guests must have numbered close upon a hundred, amongst which w»s a fair sprinkling of the- galaxy of beauty and fashion. After the inner roan had been satiated, games were commenced, amongst which were rounders, cricket,, and French teague — a kind of kiss-in-ring, without kissing. At live o'etoek tea was partaken of, after which many of the guests «ho had a distance to travel to get home left, after ipeuding * jovial tiny. Towards dusk aft returned to the township, where those fond of the terpsichorean art indulged in the light fantastic toe in the Court-house, which was kindly lent by our esteemed .Resident Magistrate- The thanks of the guests are due to Mr» Mitchell for bringing them together, and helping them to pass a most glorious and jolly day. For she's a jolly good fellow, so say all of ua.
