The Railway Reserve, extending from the Patea to the Wuitotara Rners, lies in the centre of the settled district, it is admirably suited for farming purposes, and, from the superior quality of tho land and adwmtages of position, affords an oj>portumt_r to persons of moderate mean* dcsirou* of making a home, hardly to bo equalled in any other part of New Zealand. The sections, laid out in convenient blocks averaging about 300 acres, have frontage to an excellent road— the mainline between Wellington and New Flj mouth. Some smaller sections have been laid out opposite the rising township of Wrtiroa, to meet the requirements of that place. The rural sections scattered throughout the Okotuku district, among thoso in actual occupation of private persons, nnd in blocks of sizes to suit all classes of settlers, differ in value, and havelbecn priced accordingly. Plans may bo inspected at the Office of tho Secretary for Crown Lands, Wellington ; at the Survey Offioe, Patea ; and at Mr Einnimore's Office, Wanganui. Regulations for the sale of tho land may be seen m the New Zealand Gazelle of tho Ist June, 1871, and all required information obtained at this oflice. C. A.
