CORRESPONDENCE.
[We do uot necc&iiuly endorse thd opinions expressed by out correspondents.] To tlio Kditor of the "Wukaio Tiurs. Silt, — It appear* to mo that a very serious drawback to settlement m Xgnruaw.ihia is the w.mt of house accommodation. To my knowledge pi'i-som have come to tins place with the view of making it their home, but not being able to find residences, an 1 not possessing sufficient means to build, they have reluetanth been compelled to abandon the idea. Now, this should not be, Mr Kditor, as it miht be evident to even one tlml the loss of each person who thin departs from mis a 10-i to the township at large. When in Auckland a short tune ago, I became aware that ma i\ mechanic:) and hibjuieis, with families, had refused to come to thw place lor tho reason above alluded to ; 1 would therefore urge thi* loading men of Ngnruawahia to take steps to remedy such an eul. A number of t»foor three-roomed dwellings erected in diUerent parts of the township would well repay their builders. A hint is sufficient. — 1 am, &.c, Adam Kkuxk.
