BRODY JUMPS SIX FEET - . ■ ... ; WELLINGTON, Sunday. A remarkably fine performance was put up in the high jump at the Olmypic Club sports meeting yesterday. Brody and Skeats both cleared sft lOlin. The former then went on to achieve 6ft. This is the best jump ever recorded by a New Zealander in New Zealand. The Australasian record is 6ft 14in, made by Kelly, of Victoria, which was also put up in Now Zealand. Brody endeavoured to clear 6ft and only failed by a touch.
