— g> — MEETING OF MANAGERS. The managers of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church met on Wednesday evening for their regular monthly meeting. Mr A. Leitch’s resignation as secretary was received with regret and Mr H. C. Wood was appointed to the position. Mr A. F. Cook on behalf of the managers extended a welcome to the Rev. Alastair McLean, assuring him of their loyal support. , i Dr. McLean and Mr W. Johnstone endorsed Mr Cook’s remarks and mentioned the big year’s work that lay ahead. Nine tenders were received for the now manse. These were considered and the tender of Messrs Wharmby and Williams was accepted.
