Miss Natalie Williams has taken up her duties as a teacher at the local school. Mr J. K. Lee has been appointed to the wardrobe committee of the Operatic Society. Gray, * ‘ Waimarino, ’ ’ Waipawa, and Mr Edgar M. Willis, second son of Mr and Mrs Willis, Porangahau. Mr Charles W. Kerry, of Wellington, has been appointed judge of the vocal and instrumental sections of the Napier Competitions Society’s Easter festival, -and Professor Maxwell Walker, of University College, Auckland, has been appointed judge of the elocutionary section.
