STORTFORD LODGE SALE At Stortford Lodge saloyards on Wed* nosday a large penning of fair to good quality cattle, both fat and stores, and a heavy yarding of sheep were, off cred to the buyers. The beef market was well supplied, and were easier than last week. This also applied to the fat sheep market, where prices were disappointing, v Store sheep, where good, were keenly competed for. Tho prices showed a slight decline on last week’s prices-.' ’The following is a range of prices—Fat cows £3 to £7 55., fat bullocks £6 10s. to £l3 3s. 6c1., 4-ycar forward Hereford bullocks, £8 155., fat ewes, 13s. do 15s. 6d., fat lambs 17s. 6, to 21s. 6d.. 2-tooth ewes to 245. 6d., ' 4-tooth ewes to 245. JLOd., guaranteed ,s.m. ewes to 175., f. and f. 4 and 6-tooth wethers to 21s. Id., 2-tooth wethers to 17s. 6d., forward lambs to 17s. 6d., good woolly lambs 13s. to 155., medium lambs 9s. to 12s.
