The ordinary fortnightly meeting of Loyal Takapau Lodge, was held in the Ashley Clinton Hall last evening, when there was. a large muster of. brethren, including visitors from the Tavistock, Tikokino, Forest Home, and Tapanui lodges. P.G. Bro. Cook, of Loyal Tavistock . Lodge, presided, and was supported by . officers . of Tavistock Lodge, in addition . to officers of the home Lodge. Business of.a routine nature was .transacted,...and. three new members were initiated into the Order. The acting JST.G.. and Lecture Master, P.CL Bro. Johnstone, delivered the initiation charges, and P.G.’s Bro. Vesty and McColl acted as conductors. One new member was proposed for member-, ship. At the conclusion of the ordinary. business a degree meeting was’ held, when degrees were conferred on. a num-. ber of candidates. The Lodge then went into harmony, and supper was handed, round. . .
