TOWN BOARD.
BIENNIAL ELECTION. THE CANDIDATES. Nominations of candidates for the new Town Board closed at noon yesterday. The number received was eleven, six of whom are members of the present Board. Alli the old members are seeking re-election, with the exception of Commissioner Gore. The following are the names of the candidates, the names of their nominators being given in parentheses : — Bailey, Joseph James (W. A. Chambers and F. W. Gore.) Booth, William Herbert (F. W. Gore and J. Staines). Chambers, William Ashton (W. H. Booth and J. Staines). Elliott, Edgar A. J. (D. Annand and J. J. Bailey.) Grenfell, William Francis (J. C. Simpson and J. A. Blom.) Harvey, John Linnette (J. Sharpin and T. Nicholson.) McCormick, Bernard John (J. Barnes and D. Ann and.) Sampson, Percy Wallace (F. H. Drower ami H. Poynter.) Seymour, Cecil Whiteing (F. W. Gore and W. A. Chambers.) Staines John (W. H. Booth and F. W. Gore.) Winlove, John (P. Gow and R. J. Fleming.) The poll will be taken on Wednesday next at the Town Board office.
