H.B. LAND BOARD.
A meeting of the Board was.held at Napier on Friday. Business affecting this- district was tranacted as follows; — In reply to Mr A. 11. McKay, the matter of setting aside a sitetor a public hall at Hatumna is to receive favourable consideration when the town is being laid off. Henry North, Hatuma, wasgranted permission to take anothercrop of oats off a portion of his section.. In connection with the failureto comply with the residential andimprovment condition J. Mclntyre, section 9 block 10, Waipukurau, was ordered to residein two mouths. W. Gray, section 13, block 5,. Waipukurau, to reside by December 31. Hugh Edgar, section 6, block 11,. Waipukurau, was considered satisfactory. 8. Carr, section 7, block 8,. to produce evidence to be produced by next meeting that lessee intends to reside. G. P. Dandy, section 2,.b10ck 15,. Waipukurau, was considered factoryIt was decided to request theWaipawa County Council to regulate the taking of metal from, thebed of the Waipawa River; and MrBaines was requested to explaim the position at the next meeting.
