Montgomery's Company
—o An entirely new programme of moving pictures, illustrated songs, interspersed with music, mirth and melody, will be presented' by Mr Montgomery on his forthcoming visit here, to-morrow (Wednesday) night. This enterprising proprietor has just received from his London agents a large and costly collection of the very latest successes in moving picture films. Subjects of a humorous character will be strongly represented. Great interest will doubtless be aroused by the announcement that the company will exhibit the first of a series of moving pictures : “ With the New Zealand Representatives through Great Britain.” The match against All England and incidents in connection therewith will be vividly portrayed, in which the individual players can be easily recognised, and a large number of other interesting pictures, both serious and humorous, will be shown. Of the whole entertainment an exchange says : —“ One can obtain more tragedy, comedy, humour, and pulse-quickening excitement iu an hour at this show than can be obtained at a dozen ordinary theatrical performances/’ Mr Montgomery and Miss Ettie Hargood will contribute a number of new songs, illustrated by exceedingly beautiful picture tableaux, and a new popular comic artist in Harry Thomas will _ give a budget of the latest comic items. Au amusing comedy sketch will conclude a bright and brisk programme calculated to suit all tastes.
