London, August 2, The House of Lords, in reversing the judgment of the Scottish Court, decided that the Free Church minority who objected to union with the Presbyterian Churoh ivero entitled to all the Free Churches' funds, churches, ami manses. Lord Halsbttry declared that the parti-* cular object of the endowment was un» changeable, ft o trust fund dovoted to one fcrui of faith could be shared by another by a mei'o colourable union based on an agreement leaving the points whereon they differed in abeyance. Ho knew of no case where a minority adhering to the "~- original opinions of their sect had forfeited their right. London, August 2 There is intense excitement in Scotland over the House of Lord'sjudgmcnt, which gives 24 ministers and adhorents property of the estimated value of ten millions, and eleven hundred churches.
