The New Zealand, Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, report:— At Himitangi on Monday we had a small yarding of sheep and cattle. Bidding was brisk, and a good sale resulted. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from tlieir Adelaide branch, dated 7tk November:—At to-day’s sale we offered 4300 bales. The bulk was sold at very good prices, competition being strong. For good quality merino prices were Id per lb higher, arid for medium and inferior quailty wools the change, it any, is in sellers’ favour. There is a good demand for super lambs’ wool.” -
