' GISBORNE, November 9. /lu - the Thursday cricket competition mafeb, concluded to-day, some very big scores were made. On the first day United Aran up 377 for four wickets, and to-day were all out for 392, Lyndon being 160 not out. Commencing their innings at 3.30 p.m., United B scored 482 for four wickets, and thus secured a two-point win. W. Gibson, one of the best cricketers in the Bay. mode 227 not out. The following will represent Aramoho juniors against Wanganui on Cook’s Gardens to-morrow:—Pepper, Bowman, Hyland, Spurdle, Fargie, Richardson, Sykes, Reynolds, Farquhar, Haywood, Hoskin.
