LAKE WAKATIPU SERVICE
THE NEW GOVERNMENT STEAMER. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN. November 10. Tbe Minister of Railways inspected the new Government steamer Earnslaw, intended for the Lake Wakatiput service, . and now in process of building. Hs ex .pressed himself as perfectly confident that r the steamer’s graceful lines would ensui'e f her coming up to the contract sneed of \ls knots an hour. The Earnslaw will carry 1500 passengers.
