There was ideal weather for the third days’ racing of the V.R.C. Spring MeeL iug. The crowd was larger to-day than at any of the past Oaks days oi previous years. The course was ;in good; order, hut the fields were small.; ‘ ■ November Hurdle Race, of 300 ’sovs; two miles.—Forest Prince 1, Battery 2, ■ Zaal- 3. . Also started;: Jules,'Yarrabar, Elego, and Trajectory. Won easily by ■ three , lengths, a length between second and third. Time, 5.48)-. , - ‘, Mimosa Stakes, of 506 so vs; . six furlongs.— Rathlea 1, wiarlatan 2, Effervescence (late The Fizzer) 3. Also started: Rathkealc, Loch Amos, Dunard, Eacus,. Keck, King Moston, Flask. Effervescence led to the half-distance. Won by■ threequarters of a length, two lengths between second and third. Time,-1.15|.' ' ‘ i'Linlithgow. Hartfell, Posadas, Didus,: and Eyeglass followed in that order. ■ The lattcr-ran into second place; at'the half-mile post from’ -Mary Seaton.; CFlaith overtook the latter easily, and won il|y two lengths, four ,lengths between-sec- ; 'and and third.
