SALE OF WORK.
IN AID OF CHRIST CHURCH FUNDS. The lady .members of Christ Church have been working assiduously ' for somp time past with their needles, and. this afternoon they exhibited, the results of their labours in the form of a sale of work in the schoolroom. A number of neatly arranged and gaily-decorated stalls aro scattered about, and all are laden with things that are both useful and ornamental and which please the palate as well as the eye. The stall-holders are as follow:—Girls' work stall, Misses Smith, Allison, Hare, MpDonough, Armstrong, Williams, and Dymock; ladies’ work stall, Mesdamos Dymock, Gardener, Ritchiiigs, and Tilley; fancy stall, Mrs Carew; produce stall, Mesdames Payne, Okey, limes, and Chris, tie and Misses Harper, Stevenson, and D. Brettargh; fruit salad stall, Misses Anderson, Ashcroft, Hole, K. Hatrick, and L. Williams; sweet stall, Misses Williams ■ (2),' Sampson, Greaves, Bqtcs (2), Spencer, and Hatrick (2); tea stall, Mesdames'Ashcroft, Day, and Haughton and Misses Davis, Christie (2), and E. Brettargh. Mrs D’Aroy has charge of the arrangements for the musical programme to bo rendered to-night. .
