N.Z. LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION. ANNUAL MEETING. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 1. At the meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association last night, Mr. F. M. 11. Fishor, M.P., was re-elected chairman for the year. ~.r , . Advice was received from the Australasian Association that the various Australian Associations were being written to with reference to the invitation to send a team of six ladies from Australia to play a match at Wellington before- or after the Davis Cun contest, and, there was every probability that , the team would be sent. ' ' ' Messrs Gore and Wilson were appointed delegates to the Olympic games committee. The election of president was postponed pending the receipt of informationi, :: The-Canterbury Association has decided to write to the Auckland Association ashling it to submit names of gentlemen who are willing to act as an appeal council for a term of three years in accordance with rules 26 to 29. The subscriptions for the -year wore fixed at twopence her capita for members of all clubs affiliated to the various associations. .
