Jiearne, Foster, Barns, and Vine are getting well into their stride with the ball. The first-named has given fine, exhibitions of breaking both wavs, and is getting the off break with the leg break action. Hobbs, Mead, and Kinnear are making things lively with the bat. VICTORIA DEFEATS SOUTH AUSTRALIA. ADELAIDE, November 7. Victoria,- jn tbeir second innings, lost six wickets for 338. Seitz, who made 107 by brilliant play, and Hansford 72 were the chief scorers, Victoria won by four wickets. TV kitty took' three wickets for 90, Crawford three for 82. WANGANUI CRICKET CLUB. HENDERSON MEMORIAL. To perpetrate the memory of the late Mr T. S. Henderson who, during his presidency. of the Wanganui Cricket Club, took such a keen interest in'fielding, the club has provided a fine silver cup for competition among, its sehior members. It is to be known as' the. “Henderson Memorial Fieldirig Trophy”,, and is to be awarded annually by vote to the best fielder among the members of the club’s senior teams. The trophy cannot be won outright, but the winner will have his name inscribed oh the cup, which he holds for the' year and delivers up at the next annual general meeting. Provision is also made for its safe custody. /
