The weather throughout the Dominion was more settled to-day, though several places “down south” had apparently not yet recovered from the recent sTorm. The thermometer reached its highest point—s3 —at Hokianga, Tiritiri. and Cape Palliser; and its lowest—so—at the Bluff. Tire barometer is gradually rising, ana indications seem to point to fine weather- The seas ranged from smooth to moderate. No communication was received from East Cape, the line being interrupted.
