BUSINESS NOTES
The Wanganui Horse Fair will bo held on Saturday, 18th inst., at Messrs Jackson, and Co.’s yards. Entries are now being received by the auctioneers.
The, Castlecliff Railway Company’s Sun-" day trains will run to-morrow as usual, leaving Wanganui at 2.25 p.m., 3.5 p.m., and 5.5 , p.m., ■ and leaving Castlecliff at 1.45 p.inV, 2.15 p.m., and 4.45 p.m. Trams connect with- trains.
On Monday Mr J. H. Keesing will sell, at' the, residence of Mr Littlejohn, Tayfprth (opposite- the Pines), the household furniture, coi’B, seyen-year-old mare, fowls, ducks, etc. The sale will commence at one o’clock..
In another column appears a sale of drapery advertised by Shepherd Eros, to take place at their mart oh Wednesday next at 1 p.m. A .large line, consisting of all classes of articles will bo sold without reserve.
