THE CHURCHES.
“Christ in the Earth; the Glory of the Future,” a continuation of the lecture from last Sunday, viz., the indicative signs of. Christ’s second coming. This lecture will he delivered to-morrow evening at Shemffs Hall at 7 p.m. The synopsis will he as fplows: —The Government of the future;Jin end to elections; Jerusalem the scat of authority; perfect government and laws; crime extinguished and death banished; God to bo all in all. Free literature and questions solicited at close of lecture.
“This man, or his parents?” (John 9) will form the subject of the Theosophical lecture to-morrow evening, in the Rand Chambers,' Eidgway Street. The Rev. E. D, Patchett will be the preacher at the morning service at the Aramoho Wesleyan Church, and Mr. F. Whitlock will take the evening service to-morrow. The Rev. E. 1). Patchett will preach at Maxwelltown, afternoon and evening. j A public address on the subject “Prophecy concerning Judgments to Come,” will ]b© delivered in the Druids’ Hall (Lodge room); oh Sunday'evening at 7.
At Trinity Wesleyan Church to-morrow evening Mr. Newton Jones will preach the sermon referring to the drink evil. The Rechabites and Good Templars orders will be represented. Mr. Wellington will, sing; the solo “Behold. I Stand at the. Door. - ’
