KAITOKE ROAD BOARD.
. The ordinary monthly meeting of .the above was held yesterday. Present— Messrs C. W. Poynter (chairman), D. McIntosh, and D. Blythe. TheVslerk reported that ballast' could bo procured from Baker’s crossing at about 4s 2d per yard. ~H was received that The Board had no oelection to Mrs Higgins having a fence erected.to the satisfaction of the foreman. Mr Hosking was granted , permission to take sand from the roadside at Putiki on payment of Is a foot royalty. The bank .book showed a dr. balance of £234- 8s 9d; Accounts amounting to £9 Us 9d wore passed for payment. ,
