ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER.
. (Per .United Press Association.) . WELLINGTON, November 2. Consequent on-the. death at the hospital on Wednesday afternoon of Geo. Gunther, supposed!to have been knocked down in r the street,.-‘inquiries were made by the detectives, it being thought that the man’s decease was caused through a blow delivered by an .assailant. As a result of the : investigations, Detectives Lewis and Andrews arrested a young man named Edward' Francis -Moffitt and charged him ■Vvitli-,'manslaughter. The accused was released on bail, self’ hi the 'sum of ,£l5O and one surety of £l5O. Moffitt will appear before .the. Court to-morrow morning. The inquest oh Gunther will take place to-morrow' afternoon.;
