THE PLAGUE.
A CASE IN ENGLAND. Press Association,—Telegraph.—Copyngnt. Received November 2, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, November 1. The Local Government Board announces that a seaman admitted to Shotley naval barracks, Suffolk, on the 10th October, developed symptoms of pneumonia. When the sputum was examined plague bacilli was found. The source of infection was not ascertained. No other case has occurred.
