“LIBERTY AND LIQUOR.” Professor Mills, M.A., .speaks at the Opera House on Friday nest, at 8 p.m. The subject, “Liberty and the Liquor Traffic,” will doubtless attract a large audience. The professor lias for a lengthy period taken a keen interest in the masses. He is organiser for the Trades and Labour Council’s Federation of New Zealand. He places his arguments as only an experienced speaker can. He is a fearless, appealing platform speaker of great ability, and will give the electors of Wanganui an opportunity of further food for thought on a subject at present considerably exercising the public mind.
