WANGANUI CALEDONIAN SPORTS. At the annual meeting of the Wellington Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A., held on Monday evening, n letter was read from the • • anganui Caledonian Society stating that at their meeting in January they proposed to tender for the amateur element again, as in former years, and also to include cycling. - Mr Pollock remarked that this was a decided compliment to the amateur sports bodies.. He had noted that the Manawatu Caledonian Society had also decided to cater for amateur instead of professional sport. The secretary was instructed to notify all clubs of the Wanganui meeting. Mr W. S. Corhv was re-elected as one of the vice-presidents of the Centre.
