NO-LICENSE.
"PERSONAL. LIBERTY, AND THE LIQUOR TRAFFIC.” Professor, W. T. Mills, M.A., who is on a visit to Wanganui, has been engaged by the local No-License party to give°an address during his stay, and will speak m the Opera House ort Friday evening next. On request, he has changed the subject of his lecture to “Personal' Liberty and--the, Liquor Traffic.” As the term “liberty’' is a good deal discussed in co.u-* nection with this question, no doubt the urofessor’s exposition of his point of view will be of interest to many, more especially as his great experience as a student of economic questions entitles his own side of the case to due consideration. ‘ There is evidently no very great anxiety on the part of county ratepayers to aspire to, seats on the Councils. For the -Vaitotara County, the nominations for which close this evening, no nominations have been received for two of. the ridings; Wostmore and Brunswick, while for the other two ridings the sitting Councillors only have been nominated.
