Counterfeit had Masterpiece beaten at tho end of a mile in 1.445. ■Cornet beat Dazzling and Colleen Alary over six furlongs in 1.17 2-5, but Dazzling was not hurried. Bliss ran the last four furlongs of a circuit in 51sec. Madam Madcap beat Countermine over five furlongs brilliantly in 1.2 3-5. Kronstadt and Outlander were together at the end of a mile and a quarter in 3.15. J Bandore was going better than Glade 'w at the end of a smart half-mile in 49 3-5, \while Nyland heat Boanerges over six furlongs in 1.18 2-5. Los Angelos, alone, galloped a mile, the last seven furlongs in 1.31. Equitas ran six furlongs in 1.17 1-5. Gipsy Belle and Dearest were together: at the end of four furlongs in 50 2-5. Tanuhanser and St. Aidan were together, at the end of a mile and a quarter in 2.15 2-5. Miscount, Domino, and Royal Scotch, starting in straggling order, galloped a mile and a quarter. Miscount got a break of. a few lengths, and set a solid pace, but tired badly over the last quarter, ‘and Royal Scotch made up the gap, but be, too, stopped.
