RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES. (Fer Ended Press Asswsiatiou) - CHRISTCHURCH, October 31. A beautiful morning favoured trainers at Biccartou. Prim and Martine put in a sound gallop over a mile and a quarter in 2.15 2-5 on the plough. Counterfeit had Masterpiece beaten at tho end of a mile in 1.445. ■Cornet beat Dazzling and Colleen Alary over six furlongs in 1.17 2-5, but Dazzling was not hurried. Bliss ran the last four furlongs of a circuit in 51sec. Madam Madcap beat Countermine over five furlongs brilliantly in 1.2 3-5. Kronstadt and Outlander were together at the end of a mile and a quarter in 3.15. J Bandore was going better than Glade 'w at the end of a smart half-mile in 49 3-5, \while Nyland heat Boanerges over six furlongs in 1.18 2-5. Los Angelos, alone, galloped a mile, the last seven furlongs in 1.31. Equitas ran six furlongs in 1.17 1-5. Gipsy Belle and Dearest were together: at the end of four furlongs in 50 2-5. Tanuhanser and St. Aidan were together, at the end of a mile and a quarter in 2.15 2-5. Miscount, Domino, and Royal Scotch, starting in straggling order, galloped a mile and a quarter. Miscount got a break of. a few lengths, and set a solid pace, but tired badly over the last quarter, ‘and Royal Scotch made up the gap, but be, too, stopped. The time was 2.12 4-5, lint the gallop was an unsatisfactory one. .;r Projective ran away fgrom Kanroa oyer a mile and a quarter, the last nine, furlongs ‘ taking 2.3. -® ea was slightly better than Crosbie at the end of a fast four furlongs in 49 2-3. ■ ' f Labour Day, with a light-weight up, ran five furlongs in 1.2 4-5. ran four furlongs easily in Goodwin Park, alone, covered a mile and a quarter in 2.15 1-5. . y Eilosleri, ■ who struck' himself lately, trotted three.-circuits. Ee : appeared to move quite soundly., ■’ ’’ Nightlight, with assistance, ran a mile and ar half impressively fh 2.45 2-5. The two-year-olds, spripted on the course proper. Ermengarde’s was an attractive effort, he beating Beldame, Lourdes, and Bonitas over half a mile in 49 1-5. Winning Way-had the better of Autummis, running half a mile in 48 1-5. Goldfinder, who was, kicked on Saturday, was an absentee fbofii the tracks.
