The Countess of Lonsdale opened the King Edward memorial wing at Cumberland infirmary, Carlisle, costing £30,000. AN ANONYMOUS PRESENT. LONDON, October 30. An anonymous American has presented a massive silver altar reredos (the decorated portion of the wall behind and rising above tho altar in a church) for the Sandringham memorial to King Edward.
