LONDON MAEKETS. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable advice from their Loudon office, under date 21ith inst.: Frozen Meat.—Since our last cable, Home and Continental supplies of mutton and lamb are decreasing. There is more demand for lamb at unchanged prices. Mutton is in better demand, Canterbury, being unchanged. For best North Island holders are asking the same price as Canterbury. Beef.—No improvement. Sheepskins.—As compared with- closingrates of last series, prices are lower, for combing skins to the extent of Id per lb,and clothing skins -pi. Tallow.—Since our last cable, prices arc on the average (Id to Is per cwt. higher, for all sorts except prime mutton,- which ■ is unchanged. Demand chiefly for medium qualities. . .. Although the .weath r was extremely rough there was a large -attendance of buyers, and practically all lines were quitted at the' following prices:— ■ ! ■ Sheep.—Small mixed shorn hoggets-to-9s id, empty store owes 9s, 9s 3d, and 11s 7d, small mixed hoggets to- 10s lid, well cr hoggets 12s, medium hoggets 11s Cd to 12s fid, small ewe hoggets to 11s I'M, seed ewe hoggets to 14s Id, owes with lambs 16s, 16s M, 17s, to 18s 9d, shorn fat ewes to 12a 9d, fat and forward shorn wethers 12s IQd, light fat woolly ewes 16s.
