(Before Joseph Giles. Esq., E.M.) Tuesday, Novembeb 24. civil oases. M'Nairn v. Albion Coal Co.—Adjourned case. Mr Fisher for plaintiff. Mr Haselden for defendants. Claim for services rendered at the Company's mine, Ngakawhau. Defendants had paid plaintiff £5 14s on account of debt and costs. After hearing argument, the Court gave verdict for amount paid in, and for costs of adjournment, £2 ss. Carline v. Featherstone.—Claim for £1 14s 6d, dressmaking and material supplied. Dpfendant paid 9s into Court. Mr Fisher appeared for defendant. Judgment given plaintiff for amount claimed and costs, 395, less 9s, amount paid in. Dickinson v. C. O. Montrose.— Claim for £l, value of meerchaum pipe supplied. Judgment by default, with costs, 9s.
