THOROUGH COUNCIL ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting wa*s held at noon this day. Present: The' Mayor, Councillors Muuson, Thorpe, Blacklock, Shoidian, and Whyte. Moved by Cr. Thorpe, seconded by Or. Blacklock, thsit Mr James Wilson Humphrey be elected Mayor for the ■ensiling twelve months. Carried unanimously. • His Worship briefly returned than s ■for the honor conferred on him. The Borough accounts, audited by Messrs Powell and Corr, were submitted for inspection of Council and tate- •■ payers. The ordinary weekly meeting of the Council will take place this evening.
