WESTPORT WARDEN'S COURT.
(Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.) Tuesday, December 2, Applications. Cord Brown and John Brown for goldmining lease, German Terrace.— [Recommended. John Ilussey and party for extended head-water race.—Objected to by E. Jones and party on the plea that the application was for a line of race crossing ground to the extent of three or four chains, for which they had previously made application. The applicant stated that objectors might not work the ground fur two years and in the interval the race, as proposed, would not interfere with olyectors present workings. The Court granted the application subject to new order when objectors were ready to work the ground. William Bay. Registration of branch race conveying water from Kay and Reeves' race to ground 'at Beatons creek. Grant ed. John M'Mahon.—Registration of race and dam (5 acres) at the Old Diggings, up Buller river, 25 miles from the mouth. Granted.
