RESIDENT MAGISTRATE COURT.
(Before Joseph Giles. Esq., R.M.) Tuesday, November 25. police case. Robert Thomson for drunkenness was fined 10s. CIVIL CASES. Byrne v. Home. Claim for £33 1.4s Id. Balance of account for goods supplied. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, costs, 255, and fee to Counsel, £3 Ss. Immediate execution being awarded against amount held by the Clerk of the Court in Home v. Karris, and due to defendant. Byrne v. Farmer and Ryan.—Claim for £53 2s 3£d for goods supplied. Defendants filed a set off for £64 wages alleged to be due for work performed in mining claim. The dispute in this case had arisen from some complicated transactions, and the Court after hearing evidence deferred judgment until this day.
