THE PORK BRIGADE.

(To the Editor of the Westport Timet.) Sir, —By-laws are now in force in Westport—and so are the pigs—When may an attack be expected on either side ? Or are the By-laws to remain inactive so long as the public streets are required for the evolutions of the pigs, commanded by some of the Borough Councillors ? I have had some of these pigs billeting themselves on me without my sanction, and strongly protest against a continuance of the infliction. Perhaps General By-laws will see to it in future, or the aid of General Slaughter will have to be invoked.—l am, &c, Sufferer.
