(Before* J. Giles, Esq., Warden.) Tuesday, November 18, Applications. Edward Haylocks.—Application for registration of branch race, near O'Toole's claim at Waite's Pakihis—one mile westerly. Granted. Same, for 10 acre claim for mining purposes, half a mile west of O'Toole's lease, Waite's Pakihis. Granted. John Lundy.—For dam for mining purposes. Application had been granted on previous hearing' subject to consent of holders of adjoining ground. Objection was now raised by O'Rourke and party, and decision was postponed until after report of Surveyor.
Thomas Quinlan, Shamrock Lead Application for tunnel, 9000 feet, 01 ground previously taken up and abandoned. Granted for one month.
