DISTRICT COURT, WESTPORT.
(Before his Honor Judge Harvey.) IN BANKRUPTCY. Re Crowall and Jacobsen.—After hearing counsel in the case on behalf of Trustee, the Court adjourned the case until next sitting, for granting final discharge. Bankrupts in the meantime to fulfil conditions made with creditors for liquidation of liabilities. Re Stephen Lewis. Bankrupt surrendered for final examination. After examination of witness named Holgate as to possession of a horse claimed by the Trustee as part of the estate, order was made that posses., sion of the animal should be given to trustee. Discharge granted. Re William Mounts—Christopher Brown was examined as to certain dealings with Stephen Lewin as the presumed partner of bankrupt. Brown and Carne, another creditor, having made claim upon the estate, to which the Trustee objected upon the plea that Brown and Carne had sued Lowin and obtained judgment in the R. M. Court.
