John Braithwaite.—Protection for claim at Middle Terrace. Objected to at last sitting of Court by M'Leod and Bossard and adjourned for amicable settlement. Mr Fisher appeared for objectors, and stated that no terma had been concluded. After discussion, the "Warden decided to grant protection for three months, " unless the objectors agree in the meantime to allow the applicants to bring in their tail race through objectors lease, on condition of objectors having all the •gold thence obtained. In that case the protection to expire."
