The 'lndependent' of the 10th. instant states authoritatively that the hon. J. .Hall resigns his seat in the Ministry, and proceeds homo in one of the Canterbury wool ships. Mr Waterhouse contradicts the statement in the Dunedin ' Times ' that h*e intends to seek a seat in the Lower Hquse. The Agent-General Telegraphs that the Irish Central Agency has been opened in Dublin, and is in working order.
