According to the correspondent of tbe ' Kyneton Guardian,' there lives at'Trentham a perfect Samson :—" He took in his teetli a dining-ta.be, 10ftx3ffc weighing upwards of lfcwt, and carried it from one end of a large room to the other and brought it back to. the place from whence he had taken it. This is a feat which is said was never before performed in the colony." The whole of Mr Weber's (ofSfc James's Vineyard) last year's wine was sent by steamer from Geelong to Melbourne the other day. The casks were decorated with cypresses and other evergreens, and the seven or eight large waggons in which the wine was conveyed to the steamer Despatch made au attractive display in Moorabool street. It is Mr Weber's intention to build a large distillery.
