BEWARE.
(To the Editor of the Westport Times.) Sib, —Mr O'Conor, in his present occupation of petition-monger, deserves somo credit for his pertinacious sticking-up of every individual capable of making a mark on paper. The document may or may not be of future use to him. That is for his own consideration, and does not affect the public. No doubt some of the signatories consider it an act of justice to sign their names ; others do it carelessly, without giving the matter more than a passing thought; others again may put their names thereto in tho game spirit that they would throw coin to a whining mendicant, to rid themselves of troublesome importunities. In any case it behoves them to satisfy themselves that the document they sign will be produced at I the higher Court, " in exactly its present form. Some two or three individuals, who have signed the document, should get a copy of it, and keep for future reference. I am, &c, Precaution. Westport, July 4th, 1872.
