The whole of the sunken machinery belonging to the Band of Hope and Wealth of Nations, has been recovered from the river bed, uninjured, and Mr Watson, the diver, is to be congratulated upon the successful issue of his patient and arduous labors. His next efforts will be to attempt the recovery of sunken machinery at the Landing, but at present the flooded state of the river precludes a commencement of operations.
