A document has been published at Cliristchureh, alleged to have been picked up on the Ocean Beach, near Dunedin, written on a leaf of notebook by the first mate—" Myself and mates, seven or nine A.B. in longboat. S.W., N.W., Guinea. Passengers all lost." AUCKLAND. May 27. No word of City of Melbourne, steamer. Tho Hero has sailed, and will keep look out, and burn blue lights at night witb the hope of attracting attention, NELSON. May 27. At tbo nomination the show of hands was in favor of Luckie. All the candidates go to tho poll.
