The twelve highest aggregates for the championship now are Wales 283, Cowie 276, Humphrey 275, Hoskins 275, Gray 271, Taylor 266, Muir 266, Carter 203, Blatch 257, Philpotts 256, Kelly 253, Raid 250. The running match nOw being fired decides the championship. Brogden lias arrived, and visited Lyfctelton to inspect harbor works. NELSON. April 8. Arrived, Tyrol from London, 123 days out. NAPIER. April 8. The boilers of the Nevada are in such conditiou as will prevent her going down the coast. She will remain at Auckland for a time for repairs. BLUFF. April 8. The Onieo, Captain Calder, arrived here at daylight, bringing Australian news to the 2nd instant. She has thirteen passengers on board for the Nevada. The Omeo intends returning to Melbourne from Lytteltou via Bluff.

Lister confessed participation in the murder of Walker, but denies being accessory to Bridge's.death. Stewart has been arrested, charged with the murder of his wife at Gappera. It is reported that the nativo police in Queensland killed ninety-three blacks.
