The police laid an information against Mary Smith for neglecting to keep a light burning in front of her licensed house on the Brighton Read. Defendant acknowledged the charge. The Magistrate said that it was upon that especial condition tbe license was granted, and fined defendant £5, or in default one month's imprisonment. In the Warden's Court an application was made by Georga Aldous to obtain an injunction against Miss C. Murphy in order to make her desist from having a piece ot ground fenced, of which he was part owner, the business section being held in the name of both parties.
