ARRIVAL
OF THE ENGLISH MAIL VTA SUEZ. (PER GREVILLE's TELEGRAM COMPANY reuter's AGENTS.) The s.s. Rangitoto, Captain Mackie, arrived at Hokitika fit two p.m. on the 31st. She left Hobson's Bay at three p.m. on the 2Gth. She brings the English mail via Suez, eight saloon, ami twenty steerage passengers, and 200 tons of cargo for all the ports. Passenger List. Saloon : Miss Kate Simpson, Captain and Mrs J. Thomson, Mr John Manson, Miss Lucas, Mr Maclean, Miss Allen, Mr W. H. Orchard.
Cargo list.—Nelson, 36 tons ; Wellington, 94 tons; Lyttelton, 17 tons; West Coast, 53 tons. The s.s. Greelong arrived at the Sound on the 18th, the mails were brought on to Adelaide by the s.sAlexandra, arriving on the night of the 23rd. The dates are London, September 8 ; Galle, October 2. The Geelong reached Melbourne early on the 25th, bringing Captain Sampson, E.N. ; Henderson, R.N. for Sydney; Roxby and Hazlewood, officers of the Royal Navy, for Melbourne.
