WARDEN'S COURT.
(Before C. Broad, Esq., Warden.) The following applications were granted:— John O'Shea, abandoned dam ; James Shearer and party, double area claim ; Albert Fries, double area claim ; John O'Shea, head race. John O'iShea applied also for an extension of a tail race, which was objected to by Timothy M'Carthy. Adjourned till Thursday to allow applicant to show that the water will be utilised. Denis Collins and party applied for a tunnel under Princes street. Particulars ordered to be furnished in writing for submittal to the District Engineer. A gold mining lease of four acres, at Darkies Terrace, was granted to Alex. M'Mullen on behalf of the Last Chance Company.
