The Anchor Line steamer Charles Edward arrived hero on Thursday morning's tide from southern ports. She hud left here last Thursday at midnight, and arrived at Uokitika on Friday morning. Was detained there until Tuesday by tremendous westerly gales, which made the bur impassable. Left at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, arriving at Greymouth the same tide. Left Grey on Wednesday at 4.30 p.m., and crossed this bar at 3 a.m. on Thursday. She landed ten tons of cargo, a quantity of coal, and twenty passengers, and sailed at 4 o'clock the same day for Kelson. The ketch Standard sailed from Wcstport for Karamea on Thursday afternoon, after a delay of several days, waiting an abatement of the recent severe weather. She would pro•bably get into the Karamea yesterday. The schooner Three Friends left here for Charleston on Thursday with a cargo of general nicrchandis . BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. ARRIVALS.
